Description
The HPS-1000 is the mainstay and represents the “gold standard” in today’s deep-water drilling vessels. The HPS-1000, from NOV’s Hydralift brand, has become the most prolific top drive this century. It has been delivered to more drill ships and deep water high specifications than any other top drive in the world.
This top drive’s dual motor high speed and high torque performance has set it apart from its competition. Its market demand has spanned the reach from operating environments in the North Sea through the Gulf of Mexico and to the Far East. This highly engineered machine has been used in applications on the most advanced drillship and Ram Rigs to highly qualified and simpler jack-up packages.
